I guess that's right. If you're a democrat then you're an athiest. If you're a republican (right wing) you're a christian. Seems like a pretty large judgement for a christian like yourself, don't you think?

Ultimately, and for some reason, you listened (i presume) to Rev Wrights speech and deemed it "america hating", which must be why the Left defends him because the Left HATES AMERICA, right?

"God **** America for threatening citizens as less than humans. God **** America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme.”

If you look at history, America has done this again and again and again and I damn any country that does this as well. In the end, the only reason I could see anything wrong with what Rev Wright had to say, was that he shouldn't have said anything about politics in church. Republicans and Democrats lie. they are the two parties in control and they don't want to lose control, and it just so happens that Rev Wright is critical of the powers that be, as rightly so.

If the truth upsets you, perhaps a church like Rev Wrights would not be appropriate for you.

P.S. does gov sarah palins minister comfort you any more than b obamas?

I don't think it's a lack of understanding; I think they just don't care. There's no reason to.

D'jever notice? If you take a public stance that you want pregnant girls to be married, you will be obliged to explain almost instantly how far you will go to make that happen. If you take a public stance that you don't think the right to keep and bear arms should be infringed, you will be asked how many needless deaths are "worth" this vision of yours. And if you say kids should be able to pull out of failing school districts, you can set your watch by someone demanding to know what is to become of the fellow classmates that are still trapped there.

It comes down to this: Conservatives have to say what they're willing to sacrifice for their agendas. Liberals don't have to do this. Since they don't have to quantify it this way, the answer ends up being "everything." If the liberal agenda can happen by means of a lie being told, the immoral thing to do is to fail to tell the lie. If it can be achieved by women continuing to be oppressed in some third-world mudpuddle like the former Iraq, then that is what should happen.

So it isn't that they don't understand the relationship between pastor and congregant; it's that they don't care. I mean, just look at them. Look at what they say. Clinton was a better President than Bush because Clinton was more "articulate"; but Clinton used his speaking skills to LIE, and we're not supposed to think anything about that because it was none of our business. So someone who mumbles his way through, but doesn't lie, is an inferior President but someone who talks like a skilled auctioneer or used-car salesman, lying his ass off, is far superior.

Doesn't make sense on my planet. So if you want further explanation, you'll have to ask them.

It really has to do with the agenda. Morals don't enter into it. As far as they're concerned, you can hate whoever you want, as long as you do what they want done.
