Obama on the Surge
Obama can not admit he was wrong on the surge even when all evidence is contrary. We have 20/20 vision, and the surge worked. Iraq would be a disaster and a safe haven for al Qaeda if we had not increased troops, let General Petraeus do his job, and pulled out troops as Obama wanted. Isn`t it interesting that he thinks more troops will work in Afghanistan.

A: Keep in mind… These kinds of hypotheticals are very difficult. Hindsight is 20/20. But I think that, what I’m absolutely convinced of, is that at that time we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one that I just disagreed with.
